The art of Finishing Natural Stone

The burnishing of natural stone edges is an art in itself. From early on, much care has been taken to perfect the visible brim of stone. Traditionally this was done by hand and later with hand edge-polishers. Although hand-held machines are still used, the use of CNC machines to edge-finish is not only time-saving, but also polishes in greater detail, to perfection. There are however only few of such CNC machines in South East Asia.

Here are a few of the most popular profiles on the market:

CORNICE This very decorative edge finish is much sought after for use on vanities for its intricate and sculptured look.	OGEE The gentle sloping line of this edge adds to the fluidity of bathrooms.
OG PROFILES These three variations are by far the most popular design for finishing off vanities and counter tops.
DOUBLE RADIUS This finish is functional, with an angular look, ideal for kitchens.
